The low nitrogen retrofitting work of gas boilers in Zhangjiawan Town has been affirmed by the Central Environmental Inspection Team!

Recently, the Central Environmental Inspection Team conducted an on-site inspection and verification of the completion of the low nitrogen retrofitting work of gas boilers in 29 retrofitting units in Zhangjiawan Town. Through careful inspection and on-site inquiry of 93 retrofitted boilers, the inspection team affirmed the completion of the work in Zhangjiawan Town.

It is understood that in order to continuously improve the air quality in Zhangjiawan Town, further enhance the effectiveness of air pollution prevention and control work in the town, and focus on reducing nitrogen oxide emissions in the town, Zhangjiawan Town has officially launched the low-nitrogen combustion retrofitting work for gas boilers since January 2017 according to the requirements of the "Working Plan for Retrofitting Gas Boilers for Low-Nitrogen Combustion in Zhangjiawan Town".

To ensure the smooth completion of this work by the end of August 2017, the town's environmental protection department organized and coordinated multiple "work mobilization deployment meetings" with various retrofitting units. They also promptly released various policy information through phone and WeChat groups to maintain dense communication with each unit and assist in solving various problems encountered during the retrofitting process. Meanwhile, they regularly followed up on the progress of the low-nitrogen boiler retrofitting for the stationed troops in the town and reported to the district-level units to keep them informed. Thanks to the joint efforts of all environmental workers and retrofitting units, the gas boiler retrofitting task in Zhangjiawan Town was successfully completed by August 10, 2017.

As the next step, Zhangjiawan Town will carefully review the application materials submitted by various units applying for low-nitrogen retrofitting incentives for gas boilers, in accordance with the requirements of the municipal and district governments. The materials will be collected and reported uniformly, ensuring fair and impartial material review, in order to strive to distribute the incentives as soon as possible.
